In short

Solace keeps everything on your own device. Nothing you write, choose, or change in Solace is sent to Aurrhéa, to any server, or to anyone else. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics.

This policy still describes everything Solace stores, because you deserve to know what a thing on your screen is holding, even when it never leaves your computer.

What Solace stores on your device

Solace saves the following using your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). This storage stays on the device it was written on. It is not synced to your Google account and not backed up anywhere by us.

Content you create or choose

• Affirmation lines you write yourself.
• Lines you add to your rotation from the built-in library.
• Lines you have set aside in your archive.

Your settings

• The hours you chose for Solace to visit, and how many times a day.
• Whether Solace is paused, and until when.
• Where the companion sits on screen, and whether it rests in view or stays hidden until it has something for you.
• Whether you have seen the first-run welcome.

Site addresses where you moved the companion

• If you drag the companion to your own spot on a site, Solace saves that site's address (for example https://mail.google.com) so it can sit in the same place next time you are there.
• This is a list of sites you chose to move it on, not a browsing history. Solace does not record the pages you visit, how long you stay, or what you do there.
